Humanity, and Resolute Passion, for every child from a low-income household in Uganda.
Our vision, mission, values, and pledge aren't separate ideas — they're one promise, stated four ways.
A world where every girl and boy child has access to inclusive education and lifelong learning, skills, and opportunities.
To empower every girl and boy child from low-income households through inclusive, equitable, and high-quality education.
Eight values guide everything we do — see the full list below.
Every initiative is measured against one principle: Leaving No One Behind.
Learn Plus Foundation (LPF) was born from a vision to transform education, health, and social development opportunities for Uganda’s most vulnerable children...
Since its launch, LPF has steadily expanded across Western, Eastern, Central, and Northern Uganda — partnering with the Ministries of Education, Gender, and Health, NGOs, the media, and the private sector. We continue strengthening the broader education system alongside the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Sports to support sustainable rollout of the improved Early Grade Reading (EGR) model at district level, through teacher training, locally appropriate EGR materials, and improved student assessment.
Support to families goes beyond the classroom — covering required school uniforms and shoes, fees, books, and supplies, as well as the additional hurdles girls face specifically, including menstrual products and boarding fees so girls can travel long distances more safely, or board directly at schools far from their villages.
Beyond classroom walls, our commitment extends to the systemic empowerment of the child. We believe that by removing obstacles today, we are securing the leadership of tomorrow.
Every initiative we undertake is measured against our core principle: Leaving No One Behind.
